Meltonique Bowen Repeats as GLVC WLAX Midfielder of the Year; Three Flyers Honored on All-GLVC Teams

The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced Friday (April 26) that牋(Pembroke Pines, Fla./Flanagan)爓as awarded GLVC Midfielder of the Year along with All-GLVC First Team Honors.牋(Chicago, Ill./Resurrection)燼nd牋(Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada/Terry Fox)燼lso received All-GLVC Honorable Mention Honors for their efforts this season.�
This marks the second consecutive midfielder of the year honor for Bowen as she was awarded in 2023 as well. Bowen led the GLVC in draw controls during conference matchups this season with 57 and 119 overall which also ranks No. 7 nationally.�
Bowen also ranked fifth in points (82), sixth in shots and goals (110) and (56) respectively and ninth in assists (26) while playing in every match for Lewis this season and leading the team to a program best nine wins. Bowen was also named to the All-GLVC First Team where she also received this honor last season.
Serritella was named to the All-GLVC Honorable Mention Team after playing and starting in 14 matches for Lewis this season. Serritella爎anked third on the team with 47 goals and 92 total shots which puts her 10th in the league.�
Winterlik爓as also awarded All-GLVC Honorable Mention after seeing action in all 17 contests for Lewis this season and starting in every one. Winterlik爏tands in second on the team with 53 goals scored which also ranks seventh in the GLVC and her 109 shots tie her for fifth in the conference.�
Lewis recorded a 9-7 mark this season and 3-4 in the GLVC which is the highest in program history. �
